SAFRANUM - THE WORLD wax melt for wax warmers 4 x 20g
For centuries, saffron has been regarded a luxury good. Apparently both Cleopatra and Alexander the Great used it while taking a bath. For different purposes: she believed that saffron was a powerful aphrodisiac, he was convinced that such a bath would heal his wounds. They were both right, for saffron has both healing and invigorating properties. However, these are not its only uses. The civilisation of ancient Greece used saffron to bleach hair, Persians as a sacrifice for deities, and the spice was found on the tables of the then world rulers.
The most famous frescoes depicting saffron harvest (which, by the way, are a genuine challenge) were found in Crete. One of them, depicting a young man, was a direct inspiration for the creation of the SAFRANUM candle, whose oriental, fruity and woody fragrance sends us right to the areas where first civilisations emerged.
SAFRANUM will respond to the needs of all those wanting to use the fragrance to travel to distant, fascinating corners of the world and feel the connection to the past.
Using wax melts
To use wax melts, you need a wax warmer to heat it up. The wax is placed in heater's bowl and an unscented tea light is set underneath. As it heats up, the wax melts and becomes liquid. Remove wax from the bowl once the fragrance is gone. You can do it the “hot” way, so pour warm wax into a bowl with cold water or the “cold” way, gently pop the hardened wax out using a toothpick or place the warmer in a freezer for about 10 minutes. Once removed, you can easily discard the wax.
The time of heating up the wax depends on the selected tea light. I recommend choosing those that burn for about 3-4 hours. If you want to enjoy the beautiful fragrance again, just replace and lit up a new tea light.
A wax warmer should always be placed in a safe, temperature-resistant place. Keep it away from flammable materials such as furniture and curtains and sources of heat, such as radiators and TVs. It’s important to place the warmer away from drought and never leave the burning candle unattended. Remember that it is not recommended to move wax warmer when it’s being heated by a candle. To ensure safety, keep it out of the reach of children and animals.
